This all sarted in 1969 in Corona California with a friend named Jesse. He was your Rebel type yet a charismatic guy who was always nice to everyone, the Jocks the poindexers, the pretty and not so pretty. Jesse was a fairly handsome fella as well, a bonus for him. His girlfriend was oh so ...quite the looker, and very nice. Stunning Blond hair and was gifted a models looks. On a fluke on Face Book I contacted her a few years ago trying to locate Jesse, hoping he might still live in our home town. Asking her at the time if Jesse had the Indian still. She told me he had sold it about 35 years ago to someone in the next own over, but after the new owner moved, and lost track of it. I told her I would do a litle searching for it and that was that.
I never did get ahold of Jesse however, but instead inquired from her again if she had any info on it. She scarcely had anything new, So I went to work contacting every Indian club I could find and looking through forums. Anywhere I might gleen some leads or lcation if I were lucky enough.

The bike a 1938 Indian four...... was lost to the world, maybe for good...! All detectived out, I gave up untill just a year ago when I did another of what seemed to be endless searches and found it. My luck and Jesse's was prevailing. Jesse went and tracked the guy down to Salt Lake City, to a museum. The new owner of all those years telling others and claiming to have built the bike himself, Jesse set he record sraight having been the real builder..... and at only 18 years of age in Highschool. There's a whole story about him and a friend sneaking a sissybar build in metal shop wihout being found out. We all waited for the unvailing, the word was out, when he rode it to school as it was getting out. He was there to pick up his girlfriend Trudy. It would of been around October when this took place in 1969. I only saw it once more cruising town and never again. That was the last I would see him

I never did get ahold of Jesse.
