Biker superstions
Thanks to otony for reminding me about this, bikers are a superstitious bunch whether you admit it or not. I had a bad accident on a Suzuki gs450e in 1982 and to this day I don't buy or ride Suzukis, even though the bike had nothing to do with the wreck and tequila did, no more Suzuki. I used to have a lucky jacket but I got to fat to wear it, still miss it btw. And I don't give rides to blondes at bike rallys anymore either, 1 I don't go to rallies anymore and 2 wives got no sense of humor. That's all I can think of for now although I'm sure there's more.

Did you quit tequila as well, or just Suzukis?

My superstition that I believe in most (still not a lot) is manifesting deer. If I am just being regular cautious at night I rarely encounter deer, if I am one track mind worrying about deer, I'll see too many of them for comfort.

I gave up tequila as well in about 5 yrs later.

I don't want to start a religious conversation on this, but most self help books speak about manifesting things into your life, not to get started on Richard Bach again but his book illusions the adventure of a reluctant messiah is largely based on the principle. I do believe if I think about things to much they seem to appear in my life. My 2 trail 125s happened almost as soon as I decided to buy one, the last one within 2 days of it. So long story short don't think about deer I guess
