A similar Chinese bike that might make it to the USA is Zongshen (Zonsen)'s Cub Clamber 125i.

CSC Motorcycles have teased bringing the adventure version to the USA:

Look at their marketing... wonder where they got such unique inspiration from?

I don’t care if it is as good or better but cheaper would be great.

I feel bad for putting a real beating on Booger over the weekend. I’d get one of these just to feel less bad beating on something.

If the price is right, and that would have to be at least a thousand below Honda’s MSRP, then I would buy one. I’ve seen varying degrees of quality on Chinese bikes though. I’d let a few others buy one first, and wait for some reports.

But better than a Honda? No, no, I don’t think so.

I pulled those marketing pics from their Facebook because the 1 giant image on their website looks like someone scaled it down in a way that caused jagged edges:
There's quite a bit that is off in that photo. I think they got carried away with Photoshop 🤣

It doesn't interest me in red, but the "adventure" model with the raised fender and camouflage is something I'd consider. Will be interesting to see if they follow through with importing it, and if so what the MSRP ends up being. CSC's pricing is transparent after that: $65 doc fee, $345 dealer prep, free pickup at their shop in Azusa, California or $425 flat rate shipping through a budget LTL freight company like Roadrunner. Then state tax and fees depend on if you register it and where you register it.

They are a little over an hour from my house and I’ve been there before. For sure I’ll be going to see it in person
For some reason I was thinking that it was Cleveland Cycle Works bringing these in, not CSC. Not really familiar with either company, but being on the West Coast makes it seem attainable

The name comes from "California Scooter Company". They used to sell a replica of the vintage Mustang motorcycle, but powered by a 150cc Honda-derived engine built in Taiwan.

This 70 clone ran for as long as we had it with just a kick, the portability as you can see was a big factor! Sold it for the same a few years later...

I could buy almost 3 of these for what I paid for my Trail. The only thing that is worse on paper is the rear drum brake. Don't forget Honda sells the Navi in the US now and if I had less than $2k to spend on a bike, I'd go for this over that any day.

I signed up for updates. I may buy one if only just to compare it to the Trail.

I mean, spend your money on whatever you want. spending over 2 decades in manufacturing... well, i have a much different perspective on this. paper numbers don't mean shit in the real world.
