Looks like it's $95 more just for the camo color choice on the "urban" version. That's a bummer. I wonder what all the "adventure" accessories will run.
It has my interest, but I just bought another bike, so probably wouldn't consider it seriously until around the fall arrival.
I'm curious about the EFI setup, if it has a Delphi fuel controller, and if the ZS 190/212cc engine would bolt right into it.

Good news for USA Honda Trail 125 owners is it looks like there might be another dual sport tire option coming into the country.

I'll definitely take a ride to Azusa this Fall. I'll ride Booger and do a side by side. One good thing about CSC is that they come with full service manuals. Another good thing I noticed, at least in the picture, is that the kickstarter solution they went with may not interfere with my heel as much as it does with the Trail. Won't know for sure until I see one in person.

Unlike some, I have no issue with the origin of this bike. We aren't talking highly advanced technology here. If the fueling isn't garbage, it should be fine.

just to squash that assumption & elusion to 'mfg racism' real quick: its not where its made, its how its made. MY company imports a few million worth of product from Asia every year, from my specs. Again, much different perspective than most.

Some people seem to see political social issues where they are not the driving factors in a decision. Junk is junk and quality is quality no matter who made it where. 🤷‍♂️

People are so quick to forget how the Japanese brands were first perceived when they hit the US Market. It took a long time before they became the pinnacle of reliability as the high quality Japanese brands distanced themselves from the low quality ones. We are in the later stages of the exact same thing right now with Korean car brands who are now starting to be seen as durable and reliable. Over time this perception of other countries manufacturing will change as well once the brands with consistent quality start to stand out. Quality vehicles can be made anywhere.

We all owe the Japanese car manufacturers some thanks even if you drive "American". They FORCED the domestic manufactures to up their game if they wanted to remain on the field. The Koreans are on the rise for sure. Their cars are still hit and mostly miss if you run your stuff past 100,000 miles IMHO. Some of their other stuff is top notch. I have a Kioti NX 45 tractor that gives Kubota a run for the money....WAY cheaper.

exactly. How many here have been IN a Kia or Hyundai plant? ON the assembly line to determine process? I have, back in '13, '14, 15, 16.. They have both been around, forever, and both make quality products.

I was also in a briggs & stratton plant, right down the road from the Hyundai plant in Alabama, and the qc was abhorrent. Both were using the assembly systems we sold them when i was at Atlas Copco, (CP/Desoutter industrial tool division, NA was my territory)

The issue really isn't over-seas mfg. the ISSUE is the cheap ass US market always looking to be cheap as fuck 1st and quality dead last. THATS the issue. We as a society put price point before anything else. This is also exactly why wal-mart, dollar-general, etc flourish here, it's ridiculous & really over-all self destructive in the long run.

Also, how many chinese bikes that are 20 years old do you see running around the US now, at shows, restored, etc? Now, how many 40-50 year old 'jap crap' bikes from the past do you see? way, way more, because while the perception, as stated above, was they were cheap garbage, disposable, they still lasted because of the quality of MFG.

DO not assume automatically somebody has a bias for some 'racist' or 'nationalistic' agenda that may not exist for that one person's view point, such as myself, to justify something at a cheap price point that is actually LOW QUALITY. I also am the child of an immigrant. Sooo.... I encourage anyone out there to get one of these and learn for yourself. You -might- get lucky and get a decent one. Rant off -M
