How's it going? I'm Bill and put a deposit down this past weekend on a Tumeric Yellow '24 CT125. The dealer said it'd be shipping out to then 2/25, but then upon speaking with them Tuesday they told me it's delayed til 3/05.

This will be my first "brand new" purchase of something for myself and I am thrilled about it. I had previously considered getting a Navi and then a Grom over the last couple of years. But settled for my Tomos Silver Bullet moped and 83 Honda Express to putt around on and enjoy two-wheeled life. But the more I looked at the stock images of this year's new model, being from the Pittsburgh, PA region I knew I had to have it so sold those two mopeds and some of my vintage banana seat muscle bike collection and voila here I am. Haven't ever had a motorcycle before but am looking forward to joining my buddies who have Groms and Monkeys to finally get to ride with them.

I am interested in being here to see what mods are ideal for a beginner and also what the best add-ons are in terms of racks and what not. There are a few things I desire like the middle rack, headlight grille, rear seat, pegs, and the reserve gas can on the side like the classics. Most importantly though is what riders are getting to store their docs and phone in while driving aside from wearing a backpack.

Thanks and I'll be reading a lot on here now that I'm close to being an owner of one!

Contrats! You're going to love it. The Doubletake mirrors are pricy, but that was one of the best things I have done for my 2023 Trail 125. The mirrors and a center rack are the only mods I have done. It does not need much more in my opinion. It's fun just the way comes.

I spent much of the first 47 years of my life in or near Pittsburgh. Many great riding areas. I do my riding now in West Texas. Stay away from the mud and technical trails and you'll love the Trail 125!

You are gonna love it! I have a 22 and it became my favorite bike to ride. Check out the pack out line of boxes by Milwaukee, for 75 bucks it locks, is red and is watertight. Drilled 4 holes through bottom to match the threaded holes in the rear rack to mount it.

Got a pic of it on yours? I'd like to see how it looks. I do want to add a rear seat cushion on mine for the occasional cruise up and down the road with the Mrs. ... I see a lot of people also mount some type of crate to their rear rack?

There's some in this forum of mine with the box on it. I'm just not tech enough to find it. I posted pics a year or so ago.

Got one of those reusable silicone bags from amazon to put instructions manual, registration, etc. Used velcro strips to attach it to the bottom of the seat.
