Hey all - new to the forum. I only have ~50 miles on my bike, but I'm looking into mods to plan for the future.

Anybody know if any of the existing exhaust systems fit on the '23 model, or if there are any new kits if they've changed the engine to the point that they won't fit?

I'm super inexperienced, so looking to learn to wrench by modding this bike!

If you look on Webike many of the exhausts mention in the fitment, description, and/or part number whether they are for the JA55 model (2020-2022 Honda CT125) or the new JA65 (2023 Honda CT125) model.
There's at least one exhaust that lists fitment for both models: https://shop.yoshimura-jp.com/syouhin/syousai.php?id=21298 / https://japan.webike.net/products/25693624.html
But there are plenty of others where it is a different part number for the old model CT125 vs the new one. Which makes sense, most were first designed for the JA55 model before the JA65 even came out. The OEM exhaust has a different shape to the head pipe with the new engine on the 2023. I would err on the side of caution and look for explicit compatibility mentioned in the product listing, or reach out to the vendor or manufacture to confirm fitment.

Great answer, thank you! Helps a lot clarifying the different engine model numbers.

Depending on what you want performance wise in the end, there could be some fuel mapping required when changing the exhaust. Not really sure about something this small seeing any benefit from an exhaust change other then looks and the stock exhaust is pretty ugly. I painted the silver shields Satin Black the first day I bought it!

i've actually ordered the 2021-2022 Yoshimura Cyclone Exhaust which fit my 2023.
Ive been waiting for someone to put this exhaust on the 23! How does it sound? Any noticeable difference in power? It looks great!
