Hi all just new to the forum I have a 2023 trail ct125 was wondering if anyone has a recommendation of a seat that would sit just a little lower than the factory seat without giving up comfort any suggestions would be appreciated

common swap is the diablo. I have one, i like it. there's a thread on here about them somewhere.

I have no experience with it, but there is also a Diablo seat marketed specifically as being a thin and lower seat.
K-Speed are the company behind the Diablo brand, which is now "Diabolus" to avoid trademark issues.

I’ll 2nd that. I got a Diablo seat and I find it more comfortable than the factory seat. And yes, it is just a bit lower. I am only 5’7” and prefer the lower seat height.

FYI: Very easy to install too.

Another option may be to take your stock seat to a local upholstery shop to see if they can shape it with better foam (or whatever they're made out of) and maybe give you a lower seating position. I did this once on one of my bikes where a replacement seat wasn't available.

Depending on what prices in your local area though, the Diablo may be the cheaper option.
