Was able to get out and put a few miles on the “red sled” over the weekend. First impressions are as expected Fun to ride . The only negative feedback is the tires don’t handle well in the sand. Several additional items to be ordered in the near future.View attachment 223

Amen brother. I am a lizard, I live for the long/warm days.I'm glad you are getting out there and having fun, man I can't wait for warm weather!
All I have to say is heated gloves. Makes all the differenceI'm glad you are getting out there and having fun, man I can't wait for warm weather!
I rode mine for the first time this weekend. I also have a Super Cub and I like how the CT feels so much better. I'm 6'3" and don't feel cramped on the CT. Handles great. I'm going to make a few adjustments like moving the handle bars forward but I'm really happy. I'll be keeping it, God willing, a very long time.
Heated underwear better...All I have to say is heated gloves. Makes all the difference
Hi Ken
Good to see you guys talking miles! I’ve got 225kms on mine so far. Two rides really. I am about your height and would like the bars a little further forward. Are you just going to turn the handle bar clamp around?
I would say the only thing I find could be improved is the suspension. On the tar seal getting along bumps can be quite jarring.
I have ordered a set of Ohlin adjustable shocks for the rear. ( very pricy but I have good experience with them)
I will also re-kit the front forks with Ohlins when they start making them.
I’m hoping this will improve the ride a little. Overall I’m not disappointed with the little bike. It’s got fantastic road manners.
What's the number of the Ohlins shocks?
Ohlins number is HO 029. I have a set on order and they are saying 8 weeks.
