Got It!!
My dealer finally got the Trail 125 in the green color. Took delivery Feb 9th. I hadn’t been on a motorcycle for around 45 years. I was nervous about the test ride. The salesman let me ride a smaller 50 cc scooter around the parking lot first. After about 10 minutes I was ready to test ride the 125. No problem at all. I paid them and loaded it on my trailer for the trip home. Haven’t had it out of the yard yet. The more I ride the easier it gets. I’m going for my first ride tomorrow. I’m going to the Bankhead Forest in North Alabama. The roads there are in good condition and I plan to take it slow and easy.

I find the stock front tire to be a little squirrely in dirt/sand. Maybe air it down 5 lbs or so... be careful and have fun. I took the little green donkey a long way from home yesterday... one hour each way, it was a blast.

The Trail is a great bike for anyone that is rusty and wants to start riding again. I hadn’t rode in 30 years and it took no time to get right back into the swing of it.

Enjoy your ride tomorrow.

Welcome and congrats! I got my ‘23 the 2nd week of January and have perhaps 70 miles on it so far. Take it easy and enjoy. It is a very easy bike to ride, but different from big bikes. The auto-clutch takes a few miles to get used to if you are used to larger bikes. It’s light and easy, and generates smiles (and for me, a few giggles too) the whole time. You will be in traffic (possibly), so do pay attention, but ENJOY!

And welcome to the Low Power, Max Enjoyment crowd!

I don’t plan to be on city streets or highways. We have national forests roads close by. I usually go there in my Jeep 3 or 4 times a month. Most of my driving is 15 to 20 mph. I’ll trailer the bike there. Thanks for the reply!

It’s all good! I wasn’t worried about traffic, just a possibility. Glad you don’t have to deal with it. Enjoy the ride! I hope you hurt your cheeks smiling uncontrollably!!

There's some motorcycle trails @ Bankhead, with all of the rain lately it might be a bit challenging on the those, water will stand in a couple of places. Been years since we rode there and it may have changed. Enjoy

Today I rode 25 miles on the roads through Bankhead today. They are in very good condition. Only met 3 trucks on my ride. Two were Forrest Service employees and one was a guy from Louisiana at one of the trailheads. Had a very good experience on my first ride.
