Hello!

Took the chance on the $69 holla from amazon- connects to the headlight circuit.

Huge improvement for visibility at night- seems to fill in lighting closer to the bike. We all know the standard headlight leaves a bit to be desired.

Took an extra step and painted the brackets black for a better look.

I bought the yellow ones. Installed them last weekend. I also added the usb charger at the same time. It was quite a bit to cram into that headlight bucket. I ended up blowing a fuse somehow initially, so I bought some bullet connectors and shortened the wires a bit. The yellow ones sure are bright. We'll see how they hold up. I mounted mine in a slightly different spot.

Those yellow ones look sweet, especially with the green bike! I decided to mount mine lower where the reflector brackets are for a few reasons: fill in light directly in front of bike, the front shelf bracket I have installed, and hopefully not annoy any incoming drivers as I didn’t know just how bright these would be!

I didn’t use all of the connectors that came with the kit; and it was definitely a struggle to get everything in the housing. I even shortened up the leads coming from the lights itself.

i have some diode dynamics lights i've been playing around with for added visibility. At the moment, they are on some "arms" (Denali light mount brackets) that come off the lowest headlight bolts and help to provide a little space between the LED headlight and the aux lights...

I would like to mount them to the reflector "ears" but I'm not sure how the beam would work & the lenses are not removable / rotate-able. I guess I'll have to do some testing on the garage wall.

I installed them using a fuseblock from Eastern Beaver - the only thing inside the headlight bucket is the trigger wire, which I posi-tapped into the plug-in harness for my Aux plug (USB-A / C) so there's not a huge issue getting the headlight back in place but, it causes you some challenges with plastic near the battery, instead.

Nice scale & design fit for the Trail. I'd like to see pics of these in action. Post a few comparo photos demo'ing illumination: headlight-only vs. headlight+LEDs on dark road for example? Thx!

A very good idea. This motorcycle is small, quiet, and looks inconspicuous. It is easy to be ignored in the eyes of some drivers. Adding some lights can attract attention and make us safer.
