Not trying to be a salesperson for Webike here. No affiliations, compensation, commission, etc.
But, looks like a new wheel choice might have just been produced/made available.
I'm wholeheartedly a "wire spoked" wheel fanatic......I think these are very nice looking in spite of that!!!

Looks like the list price from the manufacturer in Japan is ¥90,000 per wheel, or about $617 USD per wheel and $1,234 for a set. That's pricier than the Evatek cast wheels that are listed at $986, but those have also been sold out nearly every time I've pulled up the product page so Galespeed's wheels might sell well if they can keep up with demand. Graves Motorsports and Hard Racing sell Galespeed products out of the USA, so once those wheels hit the market those vendors might be an option to purchase the Galespeed Type-X wheels through rather than buying off Webike Japan.

Hi,
if you do a search on which is best spokes or cast they recommend for off road use spoke type and track use cast type .
So I would say if you do a lot of trail riding and hit pot holes the spoke ones sound like they are less likely to give you as much trouble.

Yes, 80/90-17 are tubeless but can be run with tubes (I am). They make a TT in 2.50-17 and 2.75-17 but they are 43P and 47P, respectively. The 80/90-17 is 50S

Good thing it’s too late for me to buy stuff from overseas (or anything with my self-imposed cutoff date). Otherwise, I’d be tempted.
