I am looking for good ideas on small boxes or bags for those owners who have front and center aftermarket racks installed on their LRD's. I already have the racks installed, but I just dunno if i should look for nice motorcycle specific stuff, or more general luggage with some DIY mounting solutions/ straps & bungees.

I put a Kemimoto Motorcycle Handlebar Bag with Shoulder Strap Waterproof Ruckus round bag on the front rack. I keep light stuff in it like sunglasses, gloves, registration, cell phone charger cable, etc... Its suspended by its straps and allows me to rotate up between handle bars to place a package fully on rack. On the back of the Milwaukee crate on the cargo rack for tools and handcuff lock there is a non waterproof ballistic nylon Kemimoto Motorcycle Handlebar Bag Motorcycle Accessories Bag.

And it looks damn good. Is the base plate something that comes with it or can I get one separately. Can it be locked?

That is the Milwaukee crate on the base-plate lock system. This is the tool box on the same plate. The crate will snap on top of the tool box and then the wood top will snap onto either.View attachment 1288
Purely out of curiosity what items do you intend to carry in such a relativrly large box?

Don't know yet. Plan on using for camping up one track trails. Crate is probably all I need but tool box is gasket-ed and water proof. Wood snap on top will get some carriage straps to allow bungee and hard strap lashing on top for tent. System allow for lashing all around box and on top. Maybe top heavy though? If things get tough maybe hot steam bun delivery....or ammo? :) Maybe the heads of my enemies, 💀so I can bring them back and hear the lamentations of their women, without getting the bike all messy. Was intrigued by Milwaukee Pack-out system and its adaptation potential to the CT125 cargo rack. Worked good using 5 industrial grade zip ties to hold base plate down and all rest snap onto it or each other. Northern Tool had best price and free shipping so what the hell....

I am really thinking of going with this. Do you know if the box can be secured/ locked to the mounting plate. I live in dc and would like it to still be there after I park.
