Must have somehow figured out how to go the opposite of my Dad's commute when he was going to school. Just looking at my average is about right, just above the 63km/L (148mpg) rating on the official JP website. My speedometer is also maybe 3mph optimistic at high speeds. My earlier fill-up MPGs were very not accurate and too erratic as a result of using a 6L jerry can in the calculation. I couldn't fill it up to the same level every time. Maybe I should add that I'm fairly light at just over 100lbs and that where I am is summer all year, which is better for fuel efficiency than cold weather right?I do not see how this is possible unless you live somewhere that is all downhill with a back wind. Not really relevant, but
In 1971 rode a 65 Trail 90 1080 miles from Garden Grove Ca. to Yellowstone PK,
West Yellowstone entance. Not sure of mileage but $3.08 in gas. Met my friend who rode a ? yr.
Trail 90 there also 5 days earlier. We then proceeded to go to his Uncles Ranch in Bozeman Mt.
Sold the bike on a radio station where you could say your ad live. Bought a 1959 VW Camper Van, drove home.
Wish I still had both, especially the Van, $$$$$
Sold Monkey last month as Left hand is messed up, can't use clutch.
Need to ride so bought used 2023 CT with 260 miles, have to ride, Right!!

I get in the low 90s.I got over 100mpg and that’s driving a big portion of it at 55+mph on flat land and I’m 185lbs 6’1 so I wasn’t cutting through the wind.
I do the same but on the center stand. Owner's manual just says not to fill past the bottom of the filler neck. I also keep a running average of fill-ups which smooths out any inconsistencies in filling. Not practical at low mileage, but it is if you're filling up more regularly.On the sides stand, fill until it touches the lower part of the bar.

If you haven't dialed in the OPMID settings for the 244s then keep in mind when comparing to stock that the 244s are slightly taller. So if the meter is adjusted for stock tires it will under report the speed, trip, and odometer reading which would have some impact on MPG calculation if that's where you're pulling the mileage from.
I've got that issue with larger than stock tires on my truck right now. Waiting on a correct speedo gear that is backordered. In the meantime my MPG calculations are all inaccurate and terrible unless I use the GPS to measure trip distance.
