Anyone else running these Gears rear shocks? Be interested in your thoughts/settings for fully loaded off road use.

So far really enjoying these. Holds like it’s on rails on tar sweepers. Night and day off road.
About to embark on a 700km camping trip with 7L of extra fuel, food, water and camping gear for a 5 nights solo hopefully without fellow human contact. Will report back but so far a massive improvement. Smooth as silk.

m in sc - are the grom bushings the same as required for the CT? I checked out the parts diagram on Partzilla, but they don’t give parts numbers for the bushings.

as far as i know they are all the same bushing. The bushings are considered part of the swingarm.

Thanks. I’ll email the company you referenced and see if they have additional info.

MNNTHBX replied within minutes of my writing them to say they expect the bronze bushings would fit but they don’t have direct experience. They also said that if we could provide good dimensions on the oem bushing they could be more definitive. Is there anyone out there who has replaced their swingarm and could give us some good measurements on the original?

i know if you pull one of the side supports off you can measure it. when i did the grom there were no options and i made them, thats how i checked. i did replace them later with the ones i listed though. mine were 'ok' but never got the final finish where i wanted them. I however DID (after i installed the new ones) add a grease fitting and drill the outer bushing and arm. should now be good... forever.

That sounds easy enough to check by removing the side cover. I’ll try that on a milder day in March. Not expecting to get out on Vermont roads until April.
