I’m about 160lbs. and my gear won’t go real heavy. I was going to ask you if that was a bad idea running 2.5 on the rear. I figured it is oem size and should be good.Makes sense, I've thought about running it multiple times myself. Unfortunately, rider + accessories + cargo in my case exceeds the load limit of those tires.
If you never have anything on the back and you're the weight of a small, fit Japanese grandpa, then 2.5's would be plenty for what you want to do. If you're really unsure, the load limit is 291 lbs, and many bathroom scales go up to 300 lbs, so you can physically roll the rear tire onto the scales and see if they say you're too heavy. I'm regularly hauling 30 lbs of gear and I wear heavy, XXL sized waterproof and cold weather gear.I’m about 160lbs. and my gear won’t go real heavy. The OEM tires are closer to 3.0 (80/90-17), though tire measurements are all over the place. With the Shinko SR244s having a more agressive trail tread, expect that those knobs add some visual height and width to the tire while having a smaller carcass size.I figured it is oem size and should be good.
Thats where I bought my 22. I was impressed with every aspect of how they handled the sale. Only 25 miles from me, I should sneak over and look at your tires lolOne left in Danville, Ky. $4250 plus 6% state tax, that’s it. At that price I had to get one. Next Saturday I pick up. Dealer called yesterday, 244s mounted and ready for dirt. Trucking it home so the break in can be done as recommended.

If I had a truck sooner than Saturday, I would go get it. I got a 300 Honda 4x4 from that dealer about 40 years ago. They been putting smiles on faces for decades. You sneak in there, get me a pic!
