I’m one of twenty five riders who hope to see their new CT125 delivered sometime in June 2021 via Seven Seas Motors in the north of England. I live in Southport and currently ride a big heavy touring BMW that is a challenge to manoeuvre in tight spaces at my age

Welcome aboard! I hope your bikes arrive soon! What crazy airplane is that, you're hanging out of?

Thanks, good to be here

That is a Hawker Siddley Trident 2E. It has been sitting on the tarmac at LCNC Cyprus since the Turkish invasion of 1974. You can see the bullet and cannon holes from the fighting. It was the noisy, underpowered but older brother of the B727 but handled like a dream - great memories ...

That's pretty cool! I flew 727's for awhile in the late 90's. Great airplane!

One had to be patient with the 727 also. But once it got going, it really moved.

Another UK CT devotee. Along with Kritou and bustupbiker waiting for a slow boat from Thailand. Restored a CT90 some years ago so know what to expect, just a lot more stuff available now . Colin

Hello Colin - good to meet you

I didn’t know that our bikes were coming from the Land of Smiles! There are a couple of CT125 YT channels based there so I guess we can ask there about the specs such as gear shift sequence, paperwork etc

Welcome to all the UK guys. Took a sightseeing tourist trip there just before Covid hit. 2 weeks and barely scratched the surface of all the history and sights. Another trip is in order!
Glad to see you will be getting the CT125's.

Glad to see the newer guys from Great Britain. That's where my ancestors came from. Scotland, England, Ireland, and Wales. Interesting to see Kritou mention Cyprus. I was born in the British Mines Hospital there in 1963. Military brat.

Good to meet you Mike

If you were a military brat I wonder if was the British Military Hospital or the Cyprus Mines Company (an American company) hospital in Skouriotissa that is on your Birth Certificate?

I keep an elderly Suzuki SP370 for riding the forest trails there but a CT125 would be the perfect machine for the isolated and meandering mountain tracks

I did harbour a dream of riding a bit of the TAT but this pandemic and my age have probably wiped that off my bucket list ...

I'll have to check that out when I get home. I thought it was the British Mines Hospital in Pendayia. Maybe one of those places changed their name?

Ah, yes Pendayia is not a million miles from Skouriotissa - maybe there were military families quartered in that area and the nearest natal facility was indeed the CMC hospital - you may of course be required to serve your national military service term should you revisit the Isalnd of Aphrodite! Your lineage is certainly a cosmopolitan one ...

I’m pleased someone is arranging this, I’ve been hoping to buy one myself. Are they getting UK registered by seven seas too or have you got to sort that yourself?
Hopefully the insurance isn’t too difficult to sort out given it’s a grey import.

Please keep us updated when you receive your bike, I’m sure you will have a great time with it.

7 seas will give you the name of an insurance company that they use. They are not new to this game as they have been importing
JHM vehicles into the UK for years..I bought another Japanese home market bike from them some years ago.
FYI i have a mate now lives in the USA who sent me a workshop manual and the owners book..
