Any tips for putting them on?
Yes! Measure and cut to length desired then mix up a very soapy water solution...very soapy...then twist twist and keep twisting in one direction until it's in position...I think I removed the weighted ends too to help start the grip over the grip ends...

Don't have cut. Soapy water, actually dish soap and a little water. Smear on handle bar grips and hush puppy insides and feed on over a couple of (3-4) zip ties run down the length thru the puppies and held with one hand as you feed over weight ends. Twist with dry dish towel over cause you hands will slip while sliding on. Extra length will walk up the end of the hand stop of the OEM grips. Pull out zip ties and let dry. Took less than a minute for each on my two LRDs once I prep'd the soapy water. Three hands makes much easier. If God was really kind he would have made us like elephants.... LMAO!
