Bought a Vancouver jacket from Gryphon Moto on sale in November, in the gray colorway.
Jacket is very well made - I was very impressed with the quality of the stitch work, and the fit and finish of the garment. Lots of thoughtful details, pockets, and vents. I feel like I’m still discovering things after a month of use.
Waterproofing and wind proofing have held up well in use. I haven’t gone out in extreme rain, but in light rain, winds, and snow, nothing yet has gotten through. UPDATE: got caught in a decent rainstorm - enough to completely soak through my jeans. Jacket kept my torso dry without any issues.

The warm liner and wind proofing held up well - taken the bike on a few rides in the high 20s and 30s, and was able to stay comfortable.

Due to weather, I have not tried the vent panels for warm weather rides. UPDATE: tried out the vent panels as it’s over 80F here suddenly. Vent panels worked great. Especially once moving, jacket breathed well. Will still probably switch to a mesh jacket come summer, but the versatility on the Vancouver is very nice.

I have also not tested the built-in CE Level 2 protection.

I will post updates as I get to explore the jacket in more weather, but so far this has been a fantastic piece of gear.

hat tip to Farmer Mike who mentioned Gryphon somewhere in this forum in a gear discussion… I ended up going the rabbit hole, and wanted to post a review if others were on the hunt for a good jacket

I have the Gryphon Tucson mesh jacket and Hi Flow mesh pants. I will be wearing them in the Scooter Cannonball this year.

Texan: After reading your post, I went to the Gryphon web site and looked them over. Ended up ordering their Torque Mesh Transition Jacket, and Pacific Coast Waterproof Pants. Should be here tomorrow. Looking forward to trying them out. Thanks for the tip!

Absolutely! Very curious for your experience with them - especially the pants. Was eyeballing them but figuring I would try the jacket first.

Received the Gryphon Torque Jacket & Pacific Coast Pants today. Disclaimer: These are the first garments of this type I have ever worn, so I have nothing to compare them to. Take this info for what it's worth.
When I first tried them on, my initial reaction was that I had bought one size too small for the jacket. But after a short while, I realized that this is probably the way it should feel. I'm 6' 1", 195 lbs, and ordered size large for both. My second reaction was, damn they are heavy! Again, supposed to be that way to protect you. Looking them over and checking out all the pockets, zippers, stitching, graphics etc, they are obviously well made.
Went for a ride from 6-7 pm just to try them out. Temps were 50-45. Wore nothing under them except a thin t shirt and briefs. I know, TMFI.
Both jacket & pants had the liners installed. As for the pants, I didn't feel even the slightest bit of cold while riding. The adjustable straps above and below the knees functioned well to keep the pants snug with no flapping in the breeze. The knee armor fit well and I didn't even notice it while riding. The jacket, due to the mesh front panels, let a little more cold air in than I wanted (it is a transition jacket). The longer I rode, the more comfortable they both became overall, except for the cool chest. HTH

Gryphon is like the new Olympia Motosports. Great quality, decent price. I ride with one of their ambassadors, and though I've never tried the gear on, it looks good.

Made some updates in the original post. Had the opportunity to use the jacket in strong rain and (separately) heat; worked great in both.
