So the second perk to drunk ordering was being surprised by the extra goodies, 2 washer hooks and the the front fender doohickey! Now the issue I have run into is of the 2 spacers for the furthest front hole of the headlight bracket just don't fit into the hole. There were 6 total and none of them fir the front holes, just a bit too big. I was going to just crank them in but didn't want to chip up the red paint or hork on the nut into the plastic headlight. Going to stack smaller washers but was wondering if anyone else has run into this? The back two fit fine.

Also, delivered by usps today from Phoenix, total time 1 week and I didn't pay for the faster shipping.

Funny, with the safety stickers they are the first to be pulled off on a new bike then the hardest to find when restoring a classic!

I'm leaving mine on for now...

How did you resolve the fit issue?
Stacked 4 washers per side, needed bolts to raise the spare tire on the motor home so the pegs cleared. Me and the Boy heading to race dirt bikes tomorrow!

Got it on... Still need to get used to it

Hi there, I just fitted up the same H2C rack and headlight protector. I found all the hardware and bits fitted perfectly. Maybe the paint was thicker on location where the spacers went on yours?

I’m really interested though in your tyre size. Have you gone 275 x 17 or 3.00 x 17? If you did go 3.00 on the back did it gear the bike up much? To much?
I am interested from anyone on the forum if changing to 3.00 inch on the rear has any issues at all? And does tyre changes affect this ABS issue? Or is that only related to changing sprockets?

Really appreciate hearing from someone who has changed tyres ( and gone to 3.00rear) but not changed sprockets.

Bigger tires are fine, I can’t speak to the accuracy of the speedo but no cel. I went with the 3.00’s, they barely clear the front but they do, a few more scrapes on the underside from the gravel in the knobs but no biggie IMO.

Go for it!
