Hey guys, is there an option or setting on the bike to have the headlight off while the engine is running? I typically start the bike and let it warm up idle for awhile in my driveway but hate to wake up the neighbor shining lights into their window.

I don't think so. Most bikes operate that way these days.
You might be able to rig up a switch so you could manually turn the light on and off.

I've been riding my old dinky cb350 '73. Guess I have a lot to catch up with the modern bike.

Kitaco makes a left handle control replacement that has a Headlight shut-off built in as well as a Hazard flasher button to flash all four turn signals.

Actually, upon closer inspection it looks like thats just an intermittent button to flash the high beam to alert someone you're trying to pass them. And lets be honest, nobodys passing anybody on the roads here in the US LOL. Sorry for misleading on my initial post. But still a cool replacement for those looking.

i hope you guys realize these bikes have a separate lighting circuit and don't affect the starting of the bike. especially with an led.

Looking at previous posts the black/yellow wire is the power. It’s behind the headlight if you put a switch in between there you can toggle it on and off when needed
