So I am both a heel shifter and toe shifter, depends on which one I do. I do like heel shifting but found I had a few problems. I would sometimes hit that bracket I installed (fishing poles and golf clubs attachment) until I realized I had to adjust my foot position. Second problem is slight ankle strain when heel shifting. I had tried adjusting the shifter bracket but I found that it was too aggressive of a change. So I happened upon the H2C pedal covers for both the brake and heel shifter. That was the ticket. It raises the shifter about 1/8 inch, just enouch to take the ankle strain off. It also allows for more heel positioning and better feel as to where your heel is respective of the shifter. WeBike was great on customer service but I think these are made to order so they take a bit longer. I only got the brake one to match, not really necessary. That’s my $0.02.
