I'm supposed to be picking up my donkey tomorrow. I hope all goes well.
I for one am jealous of you. Dealer doesn't even have a date for me and my buddies. Just says that we number 21, 22, and 23 in line of paid deposits. Show us a picture or ten when you get it!

Well, I bought it this morning and trucked it home. I didn't want to jinx it but now I can tell you about the deal. I've been on a waiting list for 6-8 months and Honda kept pushing back the date to my dealer. The date is now end of February. I live in Alabama and have called every Honda dealership in TN, GA, MS, FL, and AL. Last Friday I got a call from Brookhaven Honda in Brookhaven, Mississippi saying they had a used one for sale with only 3 miles on it. A 70 y/o bought it, took it home, drove around his yard, and then brought it back and told them to sell it. I asked him how much "out the door" and he said $3,599 plus a $50 fee the state charges (I pay 2% sales tax and tag in my state). I gave him a $500 CC deposit that second and I actually got the bike for $3,649 OTD but I pay sales tax and tag in Alabama. I don't think they know what's it worth but I'm one happy camper

OUTSTANDING!!!! you will have a blast with that bike.
I bought a SuperCub last year when I thought the CT125 was not going to be out till 2022. It's been fun but I like the CT125 MUCH better than the SuperCub. I also have a 2016 Yamaha Zuma 125 and a Honda Ruckus 50 at the beach. The CT 125 is by far my favorite. I was shocked how tall it is as I'm 6'3" and I didn't dwarf it nor did it seem like a clown bike.

Great deal! Congratulations. I mean, it's used, but....just kidding. You scored. I was number 14 with no hope in sight locally so I lucked out and found one in Florida this week that is headed back to California. Deal was fair. Not great, but I had no leverage! Dealer got a good price and made the sale easy, the shipper gets to make money off me, then the tax man in CA will get his cut. Dealer had to take mine off the floor after a lady came in and offered more than I'd paid and said she would take it the same day. They could have boned me but didn't and I appreciate that. I know I paid a little more, but it's not like I'm paying the gray market prices for a stainless Rolex GMT-Master II Pepsi bezel or a panda Daytona.
