Hello All-
I've been lusting after a Trail since they were announced, and am now getting more serious about searching for one. I'm on several dealers' informal waiting lists. The gouging is strong here in the NJ area, so I'm likely going to buy several states away and just ride it home. They are starting to show up more, though, which is a good sign. This picture is me with a Trail that my editor was testing for a national magazine a few months ago. I fell in love right away!
By way of introduction, I've been a moto-journalist for about 18 years, writing for the national magazines like Rider, the now defunct Motorcycle Consumers News, and a bunch of BMW-themed magazines like On The Level.
