A good question!

These bikes are so relatively new to the market and don't seem to get a lot of daily riding, however one member ( @G19Tony )recently rode his Trail cross-country in the Scooter Cannonball so I'm betting he probably has the highest mileage of anyone on this forum.

I have just over 1,000 miles on my '21 Trail.

Parker is (i think) approaching 30k on his now. The topend let go at 28k, needed a new piston/rings/jug. Not bad considering most of that was WOT and overloaded

Was his CT stock, lightly modified or heavily modified?

Rusty got a link to that post? Last time I checked it was still in one piece, I could be behind the times though edit 3.7. Thanks dmonkey

Various ball bearing failures are one of the things that come up on higher mileage Honda Waves with the same running gear. More involved than a top end but usually not the end of the bike. There's a Wave 125 owner who had a bearing fail on his, got it rebuilt, and is now geared up for an around the world ride attempt.

Same. 2021, just ticked over 11k. I take photos of my receipts and then update a fuel tracking sheet. This bike has been very good to me. I've had some problems but they're "problems" not problems. Like Honda overfilled the oil in New Mexico; the suspension was softer than I liked; the shift lever was stabilized because it moved more than I wanted it to; the first chain was soft and I replaced it with the sealed chain; the paint is softer than I'd like... the OPMID cluster has a groove worn into it from the rubbing of the brake cable.

But actual mechanical issues? The bike's been great. I think the only niggle I have right now is that the swingarm bushing is probably needing some love for what I really like, but it'll be good for a while longer for sure.
