Honda Please Ship Trail 125s to New England

I called Honda PowerSports Customer Service in California after contacting over 300 dealers.
Nobody has any trail 125s in stock. The Honda customer service rep checked his
computer and told me of 3 dealers that have trail 125s:
2 in Conn and 1 in New York. The 1 in NY sold it weeks ago, has many on order.
The Conn dealers have not seen any. Nor have any of the dealers I spoke with
in MA, VT, NH, or Maine.

Why is Honda not sending any to New England?
Every dealer has at least 5 paid deposits
and are not adding to the waiting list.

Pretty sure the "world" version differs from the us/eu versions, foot pegs are an easy difference to see, color is another. I'm thinking not only 1 spec comes off the line then they decide where to ship it...

Hi, I learned on Wednesday6 May 2021 that Honda shipped one
container load of new Trail 125s to New England this week.
I checked calling 15 dealers in Maine, NH, VT, RI, MA and Conn
and confirmed that Honda had indeed made a delivery.
Honda's list and what I found out was actually delivered did not not match.
Honda thinks more trail 125s were delivered than actually were.
Most of the Trail 125s delivered were on deposit since last year.
Only one was purchased in January 2021.

I went to my dealer today 9 May 2021, and took some snapshots
of the just delivered brand new 2021 Honda Trail 125 fresh out of dealer prep.

This is the first one seen here. This bike was ordered way back in Nov 2020.
The new owner was on the way to pick it up. The dealer charged $3899 +
($160 Delivery + some dealer prep and some other fees such as registration,
License plate, etc. about $800)
