I've been searching like mad trying to find a new (2022) CT-125 for the last three weeks. This morning I got it done, I put $200.00 down to hold it and this Friday I have to make the six hour trip to bring it home. Now to try to get some sleep lol. During the '90's I owned a 1981 CT-110, loved it and still don't know why I sold it. Discovered these were coming back so the search began.

Many of us have the nostalgia factor in wanting the 125 Trail. I too had a 110, a perfect little thing and foolishly sold it. It was like new with something like 685 miles on it. Talk about regretting that !
I liked the high/low range selector for the transmission gearing. It was a cattle chaser here on the farm but had bought a new 4 wheeler ATV and wasn't using the 110 anymore. And I would be embarassed to tell anyone what little money I got out of the 110.

I too have enjoyed the low range feature many times for pulling deer out of the woods,.... sure hope the 125 can do it.

I had to have my Trail shipped from out of state. The dealers here all had waiting lists--8, 12, or 14 deep, and only expected one bike all year. I also like vintage motorcycles, cars, bicycles, so the retro style which is hard to distinguish from the old 110s appealed to me. The CT125 is great for commuting, grocery shopping, library, church, and other trips around town. With gas mileage over 100 mpg and the possibility to attach many different cases, panniers, boxes, bags, or to just use a cargo net or bungee cord to put something directly on the rear rack, you can run many errands on the bike.

I just got home with it, couldn't get home fast enough (was a long six hour drive). Rode it already, but before I did, I change the oil and put in the proper stuff just for piece of mind. Safety check all hardware, tires, lubed chain, etc. IT IS A BLAST and I'm going to like it. I only put on four miles but smiled the entire time.

Its getting colder here now, winter is on its way. But I do have plans to take it out ice fishing once the lakes freeze over. But next summer I don't think I will park it, I retired last May so I'll have plenty of time to play.

Definitely, Upper Penninsula of Michigan, tons of woods and trails, bow hunting and unreal fishing. This is the sole purpose of this bike. Like I said, my 110 was the "mule", it made my Honda 4wd atv look stupid in the woods.
