Hi folks,

A question for people with Opmid or tachs on their Trail125.

What is the cold start rpm on your bike?
What is the idle rpm after warm up?
And finally, at what rpm does the bike start to move forward in 1st gear? Or on other words, what is the rpm at which the centrifugal clutch engages?
Thanks and Regards, S.

I can give you one of these answers, regular idle speed is 1,400 rpm plus or minus 100 rpm per the owner's manual. The centrifugal clutch engagement is going to be a range.

Cold idle 1650, warm engine idle 1320, on the flat when easing on the throttle as slow as possible my bike will start moving forward at 1500 RPM, seems like full engagement is at 2000 give or take.
