I feel for you my brother from the north country. Here in the states, full coverage was $150. I got comprehensive and liability together for about $80. I figure if I need collision coverage, I have a lot more problems than a wadded up bike. If I live through it, I'll have to face my wife.

Just got an excellent insurance quote on my van and suv from CAA. Problem is they do not insure. motorcycles this screws me up for combining. all vehicles on one policy. What companies out there offer insurance. for just motorcycles . I am located. in Nova Scotia. Any advice. would be much appreciated.

That is surprising as I have insurance on my Trail through Echelon which is connected with CAA. My usual provider Aviva won't insure the Trail.

TD Insurance has been my go-to bike insurance for years. Best prices and insure all models. But after 42 years of riding, I shudder to think how much I've spent on insurance and never had a claim.

Don't come to Manitoba if you want to insure a bike. I have the maximum amount of merits, which gets me a 40% discount on my insurance premiums, and with the motorcycle registered for pleasure, not all purpose that costs more, I pay ~$650 a year for my Trail 125. If I got a Grom, it would be double that because apparently it's a sport bike?

Another great reason to buy a CT. My current provider is TD and they just quoted $325 for full coverage for the Trail that I'm buying in ON next month. I'm ecstatic - that's the lowest I've ever paid.
