I was told in Europe the engine is 150cc and has 19” front tires. Someone importing it here in my country and was told about this. I checked on the internet, nothing can be found. Can anyone from europe verify if its true. Thanks.

Welcome to the group

I have not heard of a CT125 with an engine larger than 125cc and 19” wheels would necessitate a major redesign of the bike

Here in the UK the bikes are imported new from Thailand where they are built for the Japanese market

The importer is Seven Seas Motors in Dewsbury

the most logical thing for honda to do, if indeed it went that way, would be to 1: fit the new 5 speed shafts from the grom. 2: use a larger bore cyl, maybe change the stroke as well. this has all been done A LOT in the aftermarket since 2014 on this platform.. which is what actually drove the 5 speed implementation in the new grom. the CRF platform/driveline is so much different i cant see that as being a viable option at all on this for production. .02

The whole Mini-Moto line is based on the 125cc engine. It is hard to think that Honda would create an engine just for the Trail without upgrading the rest of the line. But obviously history shows an ever increasing CC since the Super Cub was 1st introduced.
