Just brought home my new trail cub just in time for sub zero temps!

I just brought home my new Trail 125 from a local dealer. Still winter here in upstate NY so won't be riding much any time soon, besides putting around the neighborhood to sooth the itch. Very excited for this bike though.
I just got my Trail 125 in time for nonstop snow and freezing temps too! We have had a handful of dry days here in CO recently though and I was able to take it around the block…gah! I’m so pumped to ride it this year!

Welcome to the forum from another recent arrival.
My Super Cub arrived just before Winter set in and it's been painful, hoping that when the CT arrives it'll bring 6 months of sunshine, warm gentle breezes and balmy evenings.

Two words... snow tires! Just kidding. I'm in Ohio. I got mine this past December. I've had a few unusually warm days to ride. So much fun. You're going to love it!

When I was a kid my brother & I used to wrap barbed wire around the bike tires for traction on the ice but now 70 years later the Trail 125 will sit unridden until spring. It's 9 above zero here this morning and is going to have to be a lot warmer than that before there is any riding. Haven't been able to ride even one mile since bringing the bike home from the dealership.

Same here! I'll make sure to wave to any other CTs I see
Right on! Took her out for a nice ride yesterday with these warm temps. What a change since I originally made this post!

But, I can't believe how fun this bike it. Every time I came back to my street to turn home, I went the other way for another spin around the block. If you ever wanted to meet up at a Ted's Fish Fry and hit some roads/trails after, let me know! Would like to tackle a chunk of the NEBDR at some point this summer.

Sounds Great to me! I'm right over the bridge in halfmoon. I was hoping to try the TMT this spring!

This is my first street bike, so I may be a bit pokey (discounting vintage moped), but I racked up 50.miles just on the sidestreets by my house. Love this bike!

I didn't know about the TMT, looks sweet!

I actually got the bike at Ronnie's in Adams, MA. Riding over the Berkshires back into NY got me thinking how the cub would handle those steep roads. Probable pretty slow but some nice scenery to take in that way anyway!

Mine came from over the border too- North's in Lennox. Got mine right in november, just in time for winter.

TMT seems like a good ride for a day, same with the NYSTER (starts around Gallopville down around Oneonta).

Any planned additions on yours?
