100 miles is a little sample of the pleasure you will get as you smile rideping past the fuel stations

I’m retired, so my miles are fetching groceries 16 miles away and exploring trails within 10 miles from my house. once I get caught up with my garden and landscaping work here at my house, I’ll be headed to Red River Gorge for day excursions. Nice buffet at the lodge there.

Just passed 500 miles. Bike is definitely running better. It makes more power than it did early on. If your first impression of the bike is that it's terribly under-powered, try that 13 tooth front sprocket and give it a few hundred miles.

The downside to rural KY. Perfect spring day to ride or fish and the grass needs to be mowed (twice weekly), the fences need to be sprayed, and the garden needs trending. At retirement age there will be at least one doctor's appointment that invariably falls on the only other day it wasn't raining lol

I’m retired, if I look in the mirror and say, you going trail riding today, the boss has spoken! I’m in the fourth quarter of my life, play definitely trumps work. Once this tilling is done and I get the seeds set, my schedule is wide open. Tall grass in my yard is definitely not a priority, ask my neighbors. My front hill is actually a wild animal habitat, deer daily, coons on my front porch every night, and squirrel and bird feeders provide my coffee time entertainment in the early AM. Rural Kentucky life doe not restrict my time to ride, it promotes it. Fishing is 1/4 miles away to the Licking River. I have four tackle boxes and a boatload of poles. This is county boy Heaven on Earth to me.

Great start. Sounds like you're making good use of it! Gosh! I've only been good for 75 miles a week.

Indian started a thing where they give a gift to owners when they hit 1901 miles (their 'founding' date). Honda should do the same with 1955 or when you hit the displacement of your bike.
