Knobby tires without raising fender?

Hi everyone! I am new to the forum as I just got my trail a few weeks ago, so I am still learning. One thing I was curious about: I definitely want to make the bike more versatile and while I think the stock tires are fine, I think it would do a lot better in light off-roading if it had some knobbier tires. Additionally, I think they make the bike look a lot better. The only issue is that I did not want to have to modify the front fender (lifting it up to make room for the knobbier tires). So I was hoping someone could answer 1) is there a knobbier tire that I can install without change the position of fender, 2) what make/model/size would you recommend?

Any help would be so greatly appreciated!

The tires mega threaded is pretty epic. I might just add that if you ride in muddy conditions, the tire and front fender are more likely to foul with mud. A 2.50 or 2.75 tire would probably be better in that case than the 3 inch wide tires. I did do the fender lift with a kit, and it only took a few minutes. Plenty of advice in the forum on how to do that as well. Nearly all of my riding is in very dry desert conditions, so someone else will have to comment on how much of a real problem mud is with a stock mounted front fender.
