I have a friend who welds aluminum for a living. I’m thinking turn this sideways, weld on brackets for an axle, add fenders and lights.

I have two spare boat trailer wheels here, plus a crazy assortment of LED signal/marker lights. So the added cost besides this carrier would be a suitable axle, and aluminum for the brackets and fenders.

Or is this too many after dinner cocktails talking?
