Sadly, a gust of wind took mine down this morning. Just a couple of scratches and messed up foot peg -- nothing too bad.

Note to self: A motorcycle cover in the wind is basically a sail.

Anyone have tips on how to get this peg back in properly?

Lol yep. But now I know what not to do!
In a case like that, there's not a lot that you can do. With that said, don't let that deter you from using the front brake in dry conditions. There's a lot of good videos about a technique called, "trail braking". If you're interested, find the you tube channel called "Canyon Chasers" and view his videos about trail braking. It's valuable information about the use of the front brake when cornering.

Undo the bolt from the bottom, take it apart, and see if there's any damage or if it just needs reassembly in the right order.
