How do I prevent myself from modding up my new bike? I've already put on a handlebar cross tube/brace, magnetic drain plug, front fender riser kit, usb charge port, digital tach/hour meter. I feel like I'm getting out of control and you guys are to blame lol. But seriously I'm having fun with it adding some goodies. It has also dragged out two dead deer I shot while bow hunting..one drag was almost 1.5 miles back to my truck. And to think I would normally hike these out of the woods. Next mod will be for ways to carry fishing poles and tackle to some private ponds in Upper Michigan. One pond is six miles back in the woods accessible only on foot or horse back...or CT-125 ;)

As long as you have more miles than mods you should be fine :p Somewhere there was a CT125 for sale with a dozen farkles but less than a dozen miles on it.

Hi, curious about the magnetic drain plug. My bike is a 2022. Can you tell me where I can get one of these drain plugs? Thanks.

LOL I did just the opposite! I bought my bike used (it was less then a year old) and the PO had added a *lot* of Farkles. Most were gone the afternoon I brought it home. Some I gave or sold to other members on this site, some are still sitting in a box in my shed.

I think the only Farkles I've kept were the center rack and the super-loud horn (which I hate but haven't taken the time to replace yet). That's the beauty of these bikes though is everyone customizes them the way they want. It's fun seeing the things people do to them to make them more useful.

I’m interested in seeing your fishing pole carrier mods. Keep us posted!
I will. My plans so far are to use 2" PVC tubing and end caps to hold the rods while transporting through the woods, reels and tackle box will be a small box in a tote. PVC tube will be mounted inline with the bike not vertical. My goal is to fish some remote small lakes tucked in the woods. (And always carry a side arm, lots of bears in this area).

Has anybody done a big bore kit on their bike either 145 or the 182? I would really like to get the top speed of my bike into the 70s possibly 80s so it can actually be driven for short distances on the highway

Be careful what you wish for. When I first got my Ural it was all it could do to go 60 WOT and it took a while to get there. Wanted freeway capability, put electronic ignition, bigger jets and she will go 70+. Once was enough, I'll never take her that fast again  Some bikes just are not meant to go fast. Granted I would like the CT to be able to go 55 for short spurts if needed....the freeway that is a hard passo_Oo_O
