I know the weight of the 125 is 260ish, would a hitch-mounted motorcycle carrier rated for 400lbs be a safe enough buffer or should I spring for the 600lb limit carrier? As a new rider, I'm finding that I'm still not comfortable on the streets, but I'm loving my time off-road. Thinking a carrier would make getting out to more trails a little more feasible till I can get accustomed to riding with traffic.

I've been using my 400LB motorcycle hitch carrier from Black Widow for over 2 years now with no problem's (I'm in a RV and have driven it all over the western united states)
