Has anyone come up with a mounting plate that can be used as an interface for quick change of say a crate and a box. Yes I know it's only a few screws but it's pretty annoying to have to unload my Harbor freight box, so I can mount my crate to go grocery shopping. I find myself wishing for a quick but stable interface to make the transformation easy... hoping someone has already solved this riddle. I would certainly appreciate any advice the group has.

I think some have had luck with the Milwaukee pack out system and mounting plates. A single wald bike basket has done fine for me. An og milk crate fits the Bill on the 1975!

Simple answer. Jettison both the crate and the Harbor Freight box and get a single box that is rainproof, non transparent and will hold everything that your crate would hold for grocery shopping, as well as your helmet while you are in the store grocery shopping so nobody can see your helmet and be tempted to steal it.

I'm more concerned with someone picking up Booger and putting him in the back of their truck than someone taking stuff out of my crate.
I have a tracker for my high spirited dog that thinks the whole world is fun and friends. I think that would be a good investment if you leave your bike for ant length of time in sketchy areas.

I'm looking at those... they seems pretty nice, they are a little spendy but it's only money, and might be just the thing.
