anybody found a great fitting pad for the high bar spot at the back of the Seat?
I've looked at handle-bar pads and such- thought I'd ask here before experimenting .

Get a pool noodle at the Dollar Store, which is now $1.29 most places. There are typically two sizes, not sure of the larger size will fit or not.

Cut a lengthwise slice, pop it over the bar. Hold it on with a couple of zip ties.

If it works for you, figure out some sort of cover, cloth, vinyl, whatever. Hold it on with zip ties.

Pool noodles are UV sensitive, so you will either cover it or cut a new one every so often.

I went with a handlebar pad (one of these, although the Honda graphic was a bit different). https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QV2YT7Q/
I had to trim a bit of the foam out of it so that it would fit. It's not comfortable enough to sit on, but it saves you from bruising your tailbone and it looks like it was put there at the factory.

I think these seats are relatively new. https://beezdeals.com/product/motolordd-casual-seat-horizontal-line-honda-trail-125-ct125/
Seems like a good option for covering the bar without losing rack space.

I also used a handlebar pad with a Honda Logo which I zip-tied on both ends to hold it in-place. In the right eyes it sort of looks factory, regardless it seems to do the job. Total cost was less then $20. Here is a blurry, zoomed-in shot of mine.

I used a bit of higher end HVAC Pipe insulation its foam of some kind, but a little more spongy than regular pipe insulation, and it has sticky stuff that holds more or less permanently... so no zip ties needed. But as others have noted it's "better" but not a cure. I'm still very tempted to just grind it off... but I do use it to put the bike on the center stand... the side of the back rack is covered up with the crate... I've been noodling around options... that new casual seat looks like a possible solution to at least one of the issues, but then I will have nothing to grab to put it on the center stand... maybe I'll just buy the accessory they have for the the gold wing... auto center stand and call it a day... it's pretty sweet.

Guys ,
Thanks for the info. and the links .
I think I'll go with the Honda Bar Pad, it should be good enough. Plus cheap & lightweight.
