Last weekend, I saw a pic of a 2022 Honda Trail 125 online and was instantly taken back to the mid 70's. We had a Honda Trail 70, which was supposed to be equally shared between my older brother and myself. Of course, his definition of sharing was letting me ride it when he or his buddies weren't, which was almost never. I'm still not over it. The CT125 looks more like the CT90 that a friend had ... not a chunky monkey like ours. So, I started doing some research. The more info I found, the more interested I became. I eventually got to watching videos of owners riding theirs and saw how much fun they were having. So, I did a local search to see if there was one for sale. To my surprise, a dealership about 6 miles away had one, or at least their website stated that they did. I managed to get thru Monday without driving over to look at it. I already have a motorcycle, a 2014 BMW R1200R. So, why do I need a Trail 125? Of course, Monday night I'm back online looking at more pics and videos. Tuesday morning I called and they had one, so I headed to the dealership. I had to see it in person. The second I sat on it, I was totally hooked and the salesman knew it. I told him that I really didn't need another toy, so he brought over one of the sale's managers. After about 30 minutes of haggling, I got him to take off most of the extra $$$ they had tacked on to the offer. After a swipe of the CC, I'm a very proud and happy owner of a 2022 Honda Trail 125! I've been riding it every day after work. Just scooting around the neighborhood to get a better feel for what I need to do to it to make it MINE. Since I already have a sport touring bike, I think I'll trick the CT125 out for the trails (guards, racks, milk crate, etc.). On the recommendation of someone on the forum, I went shopping on the Beez Deals website. They have a ton of cool stuff just for the CT125. I'll post some pics when I get everything installed. Of course, everything's coming from Thailand so it'll be a few weeks before I'm finished.
