Greetings from New England. Joined because I've been looking at getting something fun for trails in Maine and New Hampshire but also something practical for quick errands and runs to town that don't require using my truck. I 100% telecommute for my job since covid lock down I don't drive a bunch because of it, I've put barley 10K on my truck since. Lately when I do go out I've been feeling like I'd rather just jump on something simple and enjoy the weather.

Have some Trail experience, friend had an old CT90 growing up, we used to ride together in the woods a bunch me on my "Trail" PA50. Yes, the Moped PA50 it was yellow. I'd modified it some, shortened and raised the fenders, redid the exhaust high on the right side with parts from a junker bike a neighbor had got rid of, and put a pair of knobby tires on it. It wasn't half bad off road, just had to mind not to let a pedal get too low and catch on something, only had to learn that lesson once. He didn't know the first thing about fixing it but I did so I got to ride Trail a bunch. It was the first thing to pop into my head when I had the idea.

Joined to learn more, and see if the Trail is a good fit, or rather I good fit the trail. I'm somewhat larger than back then, 6' 4" and 275 lbs. Haven't found a trail to sit on and size up yet. I guess that's the first test.

I'm 6'4" and 217 lb, the trail can work for you but with a few mods.
You will be sitting on the bar that is on the rack, so a long seat is a must, and rotate the handle bar brackets forward,
Get rid of the heal toe shifter for the standard type.
I ended up making a seat to work for me, but that was before they were available.
Great little bike and I still love it...IMG20240413130515.jpg

I picked mine up a couple of weeks ago, and I'm 6'2" and a bit... and I love the thing.

Yes, I was sitting a little on that bar on the rack, but I rigged up a milk crate with a Cabela's foam pad for my back, and now I have no issues and a backrest.

Super fun little bike!
