Thanks. What brand / part #? Can you send me a pic?I have one that is like new, used for less than 50 miles. $42 shipped. My wife didn't like it.
What brand / part#.I bought one that was supposed to be a simple swap out but it was too short for my use, way too short.
You know you can't post a picture without 20 questions... what are those foot pegs, and are you happy with them?
Uh oh... I just bought one of those... Was supposed to be the same length as stock. I bought this bike for the wife, but I ride it more than she does. It's become my grocery getter. You know you can't post a picture without 20 questions... what are those foot pegs, and are you happy with them?
I did. That's what I was hoping. I noticed the picture as well. Thanks.Go to the Hammerhead website, look up the CT125, the one listed is the same length as stock. Hammerhead along with other manufactures have shifters that will fit the shift shaft and are shorter. Look at the picture above, the Hammerhead shifter is sitting on the stock shifter and the mount aligns with the shift shaft - same length. In the photo the Hammerhead sits further out but it's against the motor side cover, one mounted it moves to the stock location.
I thought they were the Honda Rally Footpegs until you said this. I have the rally ones. They were slightly more than $12.Pegs are for an XR/CRF100, the diameter for the pin is too small but being aluminum is easy to drill. e-bay specials for $12 shipped. Yes, I like them, won't be testing durability though, the CT will not be tested off-road. I've had the same pegs on a KLR650 for more than a decade with no problems but is only ridden on the road.
I installed mine yesterday. It's the same length as stock. I'd like it a few mm longer for my 11's though.....I bought one that was supposed to be a simple swap out but it was too short for my use, way too short.
I'm guessing you are running a JA55... still looking around for one that fits the JA65. Although I'm getting by with the OEM, I just don't like it. Coming up on 600 miles... probably tomorrow.. still hate the heel thingy... it's going the minute I can find a decent aftermarket shifter for reasonable exchange.I installed mine yesterday. IT's the series of the bike... JA55's cover I think 20-22 year models. JA65's are 23/24... so far. There are a number of differences in those two series, and believe it or not, the shift shaft is actually different...JA55???
