OEM Front Rack

Installed the oem front rack on my 23 today, way easier than it was on my 22 because I didn't have to swap the meter stay. If I'm honest I'd forgotten how small it is but I guess it's appropriate for the weight rating for the front forks. I can tell you from my experience if you put to much weight on the front end it makes the bike easier to fall over on uneven Terrain especially with bigger tires, I had a 275x17 on front. Also the weight affects handling on off road sections leading to me removing the Harbor freight 1800 case I mounted and installing a smaller case.

I thought about getting this one but I couldn't see much of a practical use for it as small as it is.

I like my basket because it is good for beer runs.

Hi, are you able to use the fender riser kit with this OEM rack? I just installed mine and the bracket to mount the horn looks like it hangs down pretty low.

Yes you can use the fender lift, I also used my belt sander to round off the bracket that the horn mounts to, not the prettiest thing ever but effective.
