Yes, but it will fit your 2022 bike if you replace the meter stay with a 2023 meter stay.

First watch this video from December 19, 2022:

To do the job right, you should also replace the top bridge. Watch the video below, and then watch the link within it to a video by a man in Japan who does it correctly. Also take time to read the description field. If you don't plan to use the OEM windshield, your best bet for any year Trail 125 for a front rack is the Thailand OEM H2C front rack instead of the Japan OEM front rack for the later models. The H2C front rack is larger and better. The only reason I can see for mounting the Japan OEM rack is that it is the mount for the windshield. The rack itself is tiny and holds virtually nothing.

You're awesome, sir. 😁 I've watched your videos many times. In fact, your videos are where I found out about the rack and the windshield. Thank you. 😁

I have a 2023 front meter stay that you can have for free with free shipping, if you PM me with your snail mail address. Some people have simply changed the meter stay without changing the top bridge, and they seem to have had no problems with anything breaking. Simply changing the meter stay without changing the top bridge is easy, and that is why people are taking that shortcut.

Got your PM. The meter stay is boxed up, addressed to you and will go out in the mail first thing on Monday. Don't think you are alone with thinking you watched a video, but didn't. YouTube analytics says my average view per video is about 5 minutes and most of my videos are 30 minutes or longer. Very often, the good stuff comes out near the end of the video. That is why many YouTube channels ask you up front to like their videos and subscribe, as they know you won't be watching them to the end. I always wait to the end of my videos to ask someone to subscribe and like the video, as I wouldn't ask someone to "Like" a video and subscribe to a channel that they haven't watched.

The videos of yours that I've seen were the "opening every OEM part for the Honda trail" videos. I don't know how I missed the videos that you sent me above, but I watched the other ones many times. I think the reason that people skip through you videos is because everyone has a short attention span nowadays and they don't like watching people open boxes and read the instructions. I have the same problem with mine because I don't shorten the videos of me riding my bike.

Again, I very much appreciate you posting the videos, and sending me that part. Thank you very much!

Im.Crenshaw. USPS tracking says that the meter stay I mailed to you is currently on hold at your post office at your request. Today might be a good day to go pick it up. If you are interested in also installing the top bridge, and can't get to a local Honda dealer, there are many online Honda dealers who will ship you one. Many links are in this forum about how to order Honda parts online.

Thank you for your help! 😊
I stumbled upon you also helping others on other forums and have ready that the only difference between the old and new bridge were the bolt sizes. I'm just gonna keep the bridge I have, unless the bolts break.

Again, thank you! 😊

Have any more of those by chance?

I have the OEM front rack+ windshield on my 2021. The only additional part you need is the 2023 meter stay. I never changed the “top bridge”.

While I'm disappointed with Samg7 taking the shortcut, he at least installed the windshield. As far as I can tell, the only reason for putting the 2023 OEM rack from Japan on any year CT125 is that it is the mount for the windshield. It makes no sense to me to buy that rack to use as a front rack by itself, when there are so many better choices, and if OEM is a factor, then you should buy the OEM H2C front rack from Thailand that was sold by Honda dealers in Australia as OEM. The mounting design for the H2C is stronger, the rack is bigger, and it is more useful, by far. The windshield is cool looking and I really really like the looks of it and am glad I have it mounted. If you follow the history, I bought the windshield first, and then found that I needed the front rack to mount it. That is the only reason I bought that front rack. However, If you want a windshield that actually shields the wind, then there are also better choices for that as well.

Same here, absolutely unnecessary and a waste of money.

The OEM front rack is small, yes, but it's nice to have OEM and it looks a lot better than the goofy oversized aftermarket options. For me this scoot is about it's vintage looks first and utility second so having a more usable rack isn't a concern. I might snag the OEM windshield simply to have the option at some point.

Do you know about the Endurance Big Front Rack? Does it hold the OEM windshield?
Also, now I have to find somewhere to get the windshield, which is want I got the rack, that's not from webike because it's way to expensive on webike.

The price of the windshield isn’t so bad but I can swallow the shipping charge. I thought about sponsoring a group buy to get a shipment of them to the States but they don’t even give you a shipping discount for multiple units.

Anyone find any cool bags or boxes that fit the front rack? Obviously something small, roughly 7”x5”x2”. Was looking at milsurp MOLLE stuff but couldn’t find the right thing.

Ended up going with a Nelson-Rigg Trails End Fuel Bottle holder. It has MOLLE straps that engage darn near perfectly with the spacing of the two small bars on the rack. I like that I can keep a fuel bottle separate from other gear in case of leaks and it's far away from hot engine/exhaust components.

They market it mainly as a fuel bottle holder but my 30 oz Yeti tumbler also fits.

I carry a few of the MSR bottles on long BDR sections on my Enduros and ADV bikes along with a 1gal fuel bladder as well when needed. That's a good spot for it. The Mosko Moto Aux Pox and 2L Storage Pouch are great options for the fuel bottles as well.
