Hey everyone. I have had issues with the front wheel on my Trail since the day I bought it. A slight up and down movement when riding--most perceptible between 25-40 MPH.
I have pretty much narrowed the issue down to a slightly bent front wheel. I don't know if it happened during delivery or was damaged during shipment, but it has been this way since I bought the bike. Its been too long to try and have the dealer rectify the situation.
Does anyone have information (parts info, online ordering, etc.) about where I could order a new front wheel for the bike?
Thanks!

Probably cheaper to have the wheel trued by someone who knows laced wheels.
Here are the wheel part numbers https://www.revzilla.com/oem/honda/2021-honda-trail-125-abs/front-wheel?submodel=ct125aac
I had to drive to a Honda shop that was more than 3 hours away, but I got the situation mostly fixed. The wheel itself was bent, and it has been untrue since the day I bought it. It must be bad from the factory or was damaged during shipment. They trued the wheel for me; it is much better than it was. It is still not perfect, but there is a vast improvement for sure.
The issue I kept running into with checking the balance of the tire (before I had the wheel trued) was that the wheel won't fit on any balancing machines that a Honda dealership has (at least in my neck of the woods in WV). I took my wheel to several bike shops, Honda and others. None of them could check the balance because the wheel wouldn't fit on their machines because the hub diameter is too small. I was told to take it to a bicycle shop twice by Honda dealers--even the one who sold me the bike.
Thanks for your help!

For truing a wheel that makes sense, you need it to fit on the stand for that. For balancing the wheel you can static balance it using its own axles. It's not usually necessary for this bike with it not seeing high speeds, but it's certainly a good idea to do on a damage repaired rim.

My bike has had wheel hop at 60 kmph since I picked it up. Brought it to dealer who had it 2 days and they said they spent those days trying to figure out from Honda Canada what to do. They said same issue with their demo bike. They said come pick it up that Honda told them it was a “low speed” vehicle and they don’t balance from the factory. And got same line that others have had that wheel doesn’t fit in any of their machines. I will take wheel off and try to improve matters with the axle Between 2 jack stands. The worst part is that speed just happens to be speed limit on many of our streets. 😂

So sorry this is the situation with your bike. I might go up the ladder a little bit with Honda saying that no matter what the speed, the wheel ought to be true. In any case, with some patience, you can improve things on your own truing jig. Good luck to you.

You could also ask the dealer to check runout against what's listed in the service manual to tell you if it's at least within spec, or check that yourself with a dial indicator if you suspect the wheel is not true.
Here is from the 2021 (JA55) service manual for an idea of the limits:

If you're using an off the shelf wheel balancing & truing stand you may need to modify it to fit the CT wheels, or balance it on the bike's own axle.

We’ll I took wheel off and put on stand only to find my apple wrench was too large. Looked pretty good spinning and didn’t appear to have a heavy spot. Decided to put wheel back on and while poking around I noticed one fork tube was at a different height in triple tree. Loosened off two bolts and made them even and took away 80% of the problem. Might be worth checking yours if you have a similar problem. I’m guessing it probably doesn’t take much to throw a little wheel like this off. Anyway I’m much happier and now I actually have to watch the speedo because my 60kmph nanny bounce is gone. 😂👍
