I did my oil change at 600 miles, and since have had to add oil a few times. Now at 2100 miles with 100 of those at over 45mph, the rest is 35mph to 45mph and trails. I have added a total of 14 more ounces. Is anyone else having to add oil in this amount? I am using the Honda GN4. Just curious. Everything I drive is old and all use oil, this is only the second new vehicle I have owned.

I'm on 1311 mi for the odometer reading, did my oil change on April 15 at 584 mi. I've been checking mine every other tank of fuel, aka every 250 mi or so, 35'ish mph riding for the most part, and the oil level has remained exactly the same.

If you said you were doing a scooter cannonball run at wide open throttle, I'd say that's actually doing a bit better than average (QuasiMotard said 1 quart every 1000 mi or so in one of his videos). But for regular use that sounds like it's a bit on the high side.

Do you also use a mineral oil like Honda gn4 or a full synthetic? I believe quasi solved his issue by switching to the Mobil 1 full synthetic oil
