Brought the little red donkey home a week ago. It now has 244 miles on the clock with the 117 miles put on it today. I've lived in the same place for 25 years and thought I had explored just about every path and backroad within 50 miles of home on my other bikes. Without getting more than 20 miles from home today, I rode 117 miles and discovered many miles of new (to me) roads just because I slowed down and took the time. My fun meter was definitely pegged. The majority of my riding this week has been on paved roads, with some gravel and trails where I could find them. Only a small amount has been in muddy clay where the donkey felt like a cow on ice. If I planned to ride a larger percentage of my time in mud I'd definitely look into some knobbier tires. My overall satisfaction with new Trail is a 10 out of 10. The best $3900 I've ever spent.
