Ordering direct From Thailand?

I've bought things on eBay shipped from Thailand and not needed to pay any import duties. I think it depends on how they declare the value on the customs form, something like 1,500 baht or less may be exempt. I would ask the seller if you should expect to have to pay duties or not.

I’ve ordered twice from Beez Deals in Thailand. They charge in US dollars so the advertised cost is the final cost; there are no currency conversions costs with PayPal or your credit card. Shipping was fast and not expensive. I’ve also ordered from WeBike Japan which charges in yen, so there is a currency charge from PayPal. WeBike is great to deal with, and my last order took 48 hours from placement to delivery!
