New Orleans is a harsh environment in more ways than one. I can't give advice on a cover. Whatever cover you do use keep the bike clean, waxed and make use of products that will minimize corrosion. Invest in a heavy duty chain and lock and find something substantial to anchor to. If you are one of those poor souls who must park on or near the street make sure you insure with a good company. You will need it sooner or later in Nawlins.

I park my CT125 outside with an Aerostich ultralight seat saver cover to keep the elements off the controls and seat. You'd probably want something with more coverage than that where you're at though. Keep breathability in mind as well as loose material flapping, don't want the bike to get marked up from the cover or blow over.

Mine has lived outside for 3 plus years. Handles it just fine fwiw. 100” of snow this year and way more last year…. Still the original battery too.
