was going to go tubular mounts but sized angie on bike and didn't need that much of a lift, so too some stock i had, fired up the mill and the mig and whipped up these mounts. took an hour at lunch at work. (have a bridgeport there as well). drilled the holes in the arm at home, went 1.1" deep, tapped to M8. used 4 stainless m8x1 20mm socket heads. repainted with a good coat when i got home. the bar stock is a bit overkill but one peg can hold my 210 lb frame no problem, i did test it. Used a set of aluminum pegs from ebay, like 15 bucks for the set. bought eh seat from Narwhal on here (thanks) and now if i want i have passenger capacity.
in case you noticed, the stock i used had threaded holes int eh bottom part. they came to me that way out of my scrap stock of steel . i did counter bore the holed though with a 9/16" end mill. Yes, the bolt hole centers were the same, dumb luck. I lathed the round part to counter bore the allen bolt in there.
