Hi all, I'm holding back for now. On the basket it is a dull grey, I'd point you all to a product called "Steel-it", tougher then powder coat and you apply and touch up with a rattle can, the dull grey matches pretty good and fwiw you can weld through it.

Had the boy install his own pegs!

A timely recommendation. I just finished bead blasting my exhaust shrouds, and I was going to take them to the powder coaters. I'll see if I can find this stuff locally.

I picked it up at McFadden-Dale Hardware. They have everything. I put on the first coat. It's very easy to work with. I'll do the second coat tomorrow. It dries to the touch pretty quick. I don't even mind the 10 day cure. I'll give it a few days after the second coat, then put it on the bike and let it finish the cure there. I won't be riding for awhile anyway.

Cool, what color? The grey seems to fit in to the bike well. Its pretty idiot (me) proof! Are you supposed to let them fully dry or just tacky? I did all mine back to back.

Side note, I get to race in the 15TT on the website, the stuff is tough.

Cool looking bike. I just put a deposit down for one and I'd like a similar setup to yours. Can you provide links to where you bought these accessories? Thanks!

Beezdeals.com Lots there, you may freak out a bit when you see the shipping costs.

Tire Update...

It's been snowy and cold since the first 80 miles on the bike, was able to run it at 45+mph for a few runs yesterday. Pretty sure its the mud flap bolts, starts at 40ish then gets louder up to 50 where howling. Going to find something thinner and see if it goes away.

3.0's front and rear.
